Emirhan & Denizhan (The Akbaba Brothers) are a 23-year-old twin director and producer duo from Istanbul, Turkey. They began their journey in the film industry in 2010 as child actors, appearing in numerous films, TV shows, and commercials. Growing up on set nurtured their passion for cinema and eventually led them to pursue directing and producing their own films. At the age of 20, they completed their first feature film, marking the beginning of their journey as independent filmmakers. Since then, they have been dedicated to crafting visually stunning, high-quality sci-fi and fantasy films, aiming to push the boundaries of storytelling and visual effects. Beyond filmmaking, the Akbaba Brothers are also passionate about sharing their knowledge and inspiring the next generation of filmmakers. In their early twenties, they conducted workshops and taught film and visual effects at various universities in Istanbul, offering students firsthand insights into the industry. With a vision to bring fresh perspectives to cinema, they strive not only to bring their own projects to life but also to inspire and empower young talents. Their mission is to reach global audiences and contribute to the evolution of genre cinema with innovative and immersive storytelling.
